Les 800 ans du statut de l’île de Korčula

Le statut de Korcula est un document juridique de l’île de Korcula datant de 1214, élaboré à travers les siècles. C’est un des plus anciens recueils de la région et l’un des plus anciens d’Europe. Ici, nous dévoilons la partie de ce statut relative au vin et à la vigne, culture caractéristique de l’île de Korcula depuis plus de 2 400 ans. Le vin de Pošip est produit selon une méthode classique de maturation dans des barriques de bois et cette méthode préservée constitue un lien avec ces temps anciens où le vin revêtait une importance existentielle, philosophique et vitale pour les habitants de l’île, ce qui est encore le cas aujourd’hui.

800 anni dello Statuto della città e dell’isola di Curzola

Lo statuto curzolano è il documento legale dell’isola di Curzola che risale al Duecento ed è stato sviluppato nei secoli successivi. Si tratta della più antica raccolta di atti legislativi sul territorio croato, ma anche di una delle più antiche d’Europa. Qui riportiamo le parti dello statuto che riguardano il vino e la vigna, coltura già da 2400 anni caratteristica dell’isola di Curzola. Il Pošip è un vino che viene prodotto con metodi classici di maturazione in botti di legno, e rappresenta un tentativo di comunicare con quei tempi remoti, quando il vino aveva un’importanza filosofica, esistenziale e vitale per gli abitanti di quest’isola, importanza che mantiene tutt’oggi.

800 Jahre Statut von Korčula

Das Statut von Korčula ist ein aus dem Jahr 1214 stammendes rechtliches Dokument der Insel Korčula, das die Jahrhunderte hindurch erweitert und vervollständigt wurde. Es ist das älteste juristische Sammelwerk dieser Region und eines der ältesten in Europa. Wir übertragen hier einige Auszüge aus diesem Statut, die sich auf Wein und Weinbau beziehen, eine Kultur, die seit 2.400 Jahren den Alltag der Insel Korčula bestimmt. Pošip wird durch klassische Methoden des Lagerns in Holzfässern hergestellt und stellt einen Versucht der Kommunikation mit dem Altertum dar, als Wein und Weinbau, wie auch heute noch, von lebenswichtiger, philosophischer und existentieller Bedeutung für die Einwohner der Insel waren. Korčula’s statute is a legal document from the island of Korčula that originated in 1214, and which has been upgraded throughout the centuries. It is the oldest legal corpus in the area and one of the oldest in Europe. Here we put forth segments of the statue that address wine and the grape vine, a culture that has defined Korčula for over 2400 years. Pošip is made by the traditional method of aging wine in wooden barrels, and also by attempting to communicate with those ancient times in which wine, as it does today, carried the significance of life, philosophical and existential meaning for the people of the island.

800 godina Korčulanskog statuta

Korčulanski statut, pravni je dokument otoka Korčule, koji potječe iz 1214. godine, a koji se nadograđivao kroz stoljeća. Najstariji je to pravni zbornik naših prostora i jedan od najstarijih u Europi. Ovdje donosimo dijelove tog statuta koji su vezani za vino i vinovu lozu, kulturu koja Korčulu određuje više od 2400 godina. Pošip je spravljen klasičnim metodama odležavanja u drvenim bačvama i pokušaj komuniciranja s tim davnim vremenima u kojima je vino, kao i danas, imalo životni, filozofski i egzistencijalni značaj za ljude s otoka.
